MISA concludes its Participation in Enlit Europe

Riyadh, Rabi II 27, 1443 - Dec. 2, 2021, SPA -- The Ministry of Investment (MISA) has concluded its participation in “Enlit Europe” Summit held from 30 Nov-2 Dec, 2021 in the city of Milan at the Republic of Italy. The Summit witnessed the participation of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), IKTVA Program of Saudi Aramco, NEOM, and the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).

The agencies participated under the slogan “Invest Saudi”, an initiative representing the unified national identity to market and attract investments to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During its participation, MISA shed the light on the importance of transformation in the areas of energy, and the development of the public utilities in the Kingdom to achieve 2030 Vision. This comes as part of the Kingdom's efforts to raise the percentage of renewable energy sources from 1% to 50% on the basis of renewable energy projects within the framework of the National Renewable Energy Program (NPER), as well as the establishment of the largest green hydrogen projects at NEOM.

MISA has, during its participation in the summit’s exhibition, entered into a number of dialogues and discussions, allowing the investors to learn more about the available partnerships and investment opportunities. It also highlighted the products and services provided by MISA. In the meantime, the participating bodies conducted discussions sessions and dialogues during the accompanying events. MISA has also provided the visitors of “Invest Saudi” pavilion with the services and products provided by each body to the investors.

It is worth mentioning that “Enlit Europe 2021” is a global forum for cooperation and innovation and a platform to discuss energy topics and challenges surrounding it in Europe and the world.
