Background:

The forum comes as relations between the EU and Saudi Arabia have become increasingly fruitful, with FDI stocks from the EU27 into Saudi Arabia reaching €13.4 billion in 2021. This reflects the importance of European investment in the Kingdom, but also points to the considerable potential to expand it further.​
