The General Authority for Investment (SAGIA) participated in a reception held by the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Italy and Malta on the occasion of the 87th Saudi National Day of the Kingdom through the Commercial Attaché ward of the Ministry of Trade and Investment.
The representatives of the participating government agencies received inquiries from Italian companies about the investment environment in the Kingdom and the reflection of the 2030 Vision on the economy as well as the review of investment opportunities and government incentives offered to companies wishing to invest in the Kingdom.
Major Italian companies have also presented their success stories in the Kingdom by reviewing models for their projects or products such as Proger specialized in transportation, Barilla food specialist and Angelantoni specialized in renewable energy, to motivate other Italian companies to choose the Kingdom as their first destination in the Middle East.
Saudi start-ups have been invited in the food and technology sectors to help open markets for their products in Italy. The Trade Attaché has invited 145 Italian companies in various sectors, including sectors targeting privatization in line with the vision of 2030 such as mining, renewable energy, transport and health.
The commercial ward also received a great interaction from the audience. The Saudi Commercial Attaché presented a film about the vision 2030. Some books were translated by the mission as well as the publications of government agencies and gifts were given to visitors.
