The General Authority for Investment (SAGIA) on Wednesday, 26 Safar 1439H, granted 11 innovative licenses to a group of entrepreneurs on the sidelines of the Musk International Forum, which will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh. On 26 - 27 Safar 1439H (15-16 November 2017) .
This is part of the forum, which is a leading international platform organized by the Foundation Misk charity founded by the Crown Prince HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to discover and develop the skills of young people and enable them to participate effectively in the knowledge economy. The Musk Global Forum, launched in 2016, brings together young leaders, innovators and thinkers with world-class innovators under one roof to explore ways to meet the challenge of change and experience them.
SAGIA aims to attract more investments, increase the participation of the private sector in GDP and enable Saudi youth to set up their own projects and businesses. And it plans to support small and medium enterprises and strengthen the business sector in the Kingdom. The Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qassabi, has handed over the innovative licenses to 11 companies.
It is worth mentioning that the General Authority for Investment in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority represented by business incubators and universities in Saudi Arabia supports the establishment of foreign pilot projects in the Kingdom and the licensing of entrepreneurs wishing to establish pilot projects accredited by Saudi universities or business incubators.
