Operating under the “Invest Saudi” umbrella, the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) took part in the World Tourism Exhibition held in the German capital Berlin last March.
The Investment Authority's participation in the exhibition sought to deepen the channels of communication with the world's key players in the tourism industry, as well as give foreign companies the chance to explore investment opportunities in the Kingdom’s tourism and entertainment sectors under Vision 2030.
The “Invest Saudi” pavilion showcased a host of the Kingdom’s projects, including the Red Sea Project, the Amaala project, Knowledge Economic City and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.
The World Tourism Exhibition is considered one of the largest international travel and tourism exhibitions in the world, with commercial funds estimated at € 1.7 billion, dedicated to attracting unique and significant investments in the travel, tourism and hotels sector. The event aims to connect investors, operators, industry specialists and destination managers. More than 10,000 hotel operators representing 180 countries across the world aim to showcase their products and experiences and share them with over 160 thousand visitors.
