H.E. the Governor of the General Authority for Investment, Engr. Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman Al-Omar met with Mr. William Cohen, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Cohen Group, to have deep-dives into investment opportunities available to American companies willing to invest in Saudi.
During the meeting, the two countries discussed the strong relationship contributing to the economic, investment and commercial benefits, especially in light of the improving KSA-US relations at all levels.
Mr. Cohen expressed his interests in exploring the immense economic transformation of the Kingdom within Vision 2030, which reaped its benefits by attracting the Cohen Group to establish a headquarter in the Kingdom and their aim at strengthening and diversifying the American investments.
Al-Omar commended the great efforts of American companies witnessed in reviving the Saudi investment environment by adopting the ultimate management practices and boosting competitiveness of private sector companies. H.E Al-Omar, added that the kingdom welcomes wholeheartedly all American companies and stressed on the Kingdom’s aspirations to support the private sector-both locally and internationally- as for playing a pivotal role in achieving Vision 2030.
H.E Al-Omar received khush Choksy, head for Middle East Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and his delegation to review the prominent activities to be prepared in 2018 that will include KSA-US business sector.
Furthermore, it was stated that the American investment volume during 2017 has stood at SR 426.710.000, whereas the volume of investment licenses registered in the General Authority for Investment (SAGIA) was 16 American projects.
